EEPROM Programmer
For the more complex decoding on my 8 bit computer like for example the Control Unit I will use an EEPROM, not some elaborate complex circuitry. For this I must be able to program an EEPROM. On his Youtube channel Ben Eater describes one based on an Arduino Nano. I’m currently building that. See pictures below.
