My wife is really into nature; garden, bees, butterflies, birds. She develops our garden, taking into account creating a good habitat for all natural animals in our region.
Bird house / next box
Then she asks me to make her a bird house / nest box. Hey, what can a man do? Get his tools and make one! You can see the result below; also made a hinge out of an old bag that I stapled for the rooftop and a simple mechanism to be able to lock it (the little chain you can see on the side).
And I was lucky, my grandson Berend came along. I taught him how to use the spoke shave and the block shave; he created a nice rounded stick for himself.
