Wow… I say again: wow…
I keep getting amazed by the sheer size of credit-card sized computers. The newest one (that I know of) is the Raspberry Pi Zero W. See picture on there right.
For you to be able to see the size I made this picture next to an AA battery. It’s really amazing that this little thing contains a full blown computer that can run a grown-up Operating System. It runs Linux (the Debian Jessie variant).
I plan to use two of these puppies in my home network. I will install MQTT and Node-RED on both of them. This will enable them to talk to each other and to the already present Raspberries.
All my computers are named after Startrek vessels. The desktop is called deepspace9 and my laptop enterprise. The Raspberries’ names will be copernicus and einstein; these are the names of Startrek shuttles.
