Today, looking for (virtualization) features in my computer, I came across the firm ikbenstil.nl. It came highly recommended by my son in law, a geek like me. I called them and they were indeed very helpful and customer friendly. They showed me the way around my BIOS and helped me by showing how to upgrade the BIOS myself. (I appeared to be running a very old version, 1607, while the current one is 2409). See the images below.
The upgrade was not hard at all, even from within the BIOS itself one can perform the upgrade through the Flash utility that is part of this BIOS. You don’t even need external storage, it can be done directly online.
